TYFOCOR® is a clear, colourless or green, and virtually odourless liquid based on ethylene glycol. TYFOCOR® is miscible with water in all proportions. TYFOCTYFOCOR®/ water mixtures protect against frost at temperatures down to −50 °C, depending on their concentration, and lengthen the life of the installations that they protect. Mixtures of TYFOCOR® and water do not separate. The corrosion inhibitors of TYFOCOR® reliably protect the metals normally used in heating and cooling systems against corrosion, ageing and deposits over long periods even in mixed installations. TYFOCOR® neither contains borax nor nitrites, phosphates, nor amines.
